Anyone can start a business and earn a lot of money. Not everyone can build a billion dollar company but anyone can build a million dollar company. The only thing you need to do is to stop making excuses for yourself and start working for a richer future.

You might think that you can’t do it because….. But this is not true. Simple a rationalization for not trying.

In this article, we are going to look at some of the most common excuses and why they are not valid excuses.

I do not have the time to start a company

This is the most common excuse for not starting a business and it is 100% bull shit. Everyone can find the time to start a business. You do not have to work 100% in the business when you first started. It is often better to have it as a second job until you reach a certain level of success.

Everyone can dedicate a few hours a day to a new business if they really want to start a new business.

Ask yourself a simple question. What did you do last night? Did you watch TV? Did you go out drinking with friends? Did you go shopping for groceries? Did you cook dinner? This is all time that you could have used to start working on a new company. Watching Tv and drinking with friends is wasted time, You can order groceries to your home so you do not need to shopping, you can order in food so you do not need to cook and so on.

Write down everything you do for a week and see what you can do differently. Where you can save time. I am sure you will find some time you can free up. Use whatever time you can to start a business. As little as 5-10 hours a week can be enough.

I do not have the money

There is a common myth that you need a lot of money to start a company. This is not true. You can start a small company with a very small amount of money.

Some business requires a lot of money but you do not need a lot of money to start a business. You can start a business online for almost no money at all.

Everybody can work overtime or work a second job a couple of months to earn a few thousand extra. That is enough to start a business. You can start an online business for less than 100.

If you start a small business then you can learn how to run a business and hopefully grow it into a larger business. Running a small company successfully is an excellent way to show banks that you are able to run a company. This will make it a lot easier to get a loan when you want to start a second business later on.

Saving money

Everyone can save money to be able to start a company in a year or two.  It might feel like you are unable to save any money.  Your account is empty at the end of the month and it feels like you haven’t spent any money on anything but necessities.  I can, however, almost guarantee that is not true.  I can almost guarantee that you would be able to save at least 10% of your paycheck if you saved the money at the start of the month and have to live without it.  Below you can find some common example of expenses that can be cut to save money.

• Coffee from Star bucks or other coffee shops.
• Candy and snacks when you are in the store shopping.
• Take-out for lunch:  Pack your lunch and bring it from home.
• Magazine subscriptions:
• Internet: You can likely find another subscription that gives you the same service cheaper.
• Insurance: See above.
• Alcohol: Beer, wine and other types of alcohol are not necessities.  They are a luxury.
• Tobacco:  Tobacco is a luxury that is bad for you.  Quitting will improve both your health and your economy

I do not know how to run a business

No one knows how to run a business when they first get started. I know that it might be scary but the only way to learn business is to be in business. You will have to overcome your fear of failure and just go for it. You might fail in your first venture. But if you do you will learn what not to do when you start your second business. A business that that hopefully will be a success.

Successful entrepreneurs are not afraid to fail and most of them failed many times before they hit it big.

I can’t start a business because I have a family

This is a common excuse and it is a rather good one but it is still an excuse. There is nothing preventing you from running a company and having a family at the same time. Yes, you might have to miss out one a few things when you first get started but if you work hard then you will be able to make up for this in a few years. You might have to let your family go on vacation without you and you might not be able to drink with your friends. But your sacrifices will pay off and once the business has grown a little bit then you can hire people who reduce your workload and allow you to spend more time with your family and go on more expensive vacations.

There is nothing wrong with choosing the prioritize your family instead of trying to build a company but you have to understand that this is a choice you make. It is possible to have a family and build a company at the same time.
